Green Planet Bio-Fuels was founded in 2008 by Steven Hyman, a chef-turned-entrepreneur driven by a deep commitment to sustainability. After recognizing the untapped potential of used cooking oil as a renewable fuel source, Steven set out to build a business that transforms byproducts into valuable resources while supporting a more circular economy. What began as a hands-on experiment converting a diesel vehicle to run on used cooking oil has since evolved into a trusted bio-fuels partner for nearly 6,000 food service locations and businesses across North America.
